Company Profile
In our beginning years, the majority of our major and independent oil producing customers were providing us with drilling and work over liner completions within the central California oil fields. Some of our early products were designed and developed for this relatively shallow, thermal recovered, heavy crude oil fields typical of this area. Some of the local producers have included AERA, Berry Petroleum, Chevron, OXY, PXP, Veneco, and Vintage to name a few. Over the years, our liner hanger product line has expanded and improved based on input and experience from other producing regions within the USA as well as other producing countries. In addition to domestic work, Chancellor Oil Tool, Inc has provided a variety of liner hanger completion equipment to various oil producing nations including Indonesia, Iraq, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Russia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines, Canada, and Venezuela. Typical products include Liner Hangers, Liner Top Packers, Tie Back Packers, Seal Nipples, Setting Collars, Landing Collars, Float Shoes, Liner Wiper Plugs, and many others too numerous to list

Engineering Design Chancellor has in house design engineering staff for product research and development as well as to assist the customer with product design, and product management experience. AutoCAD 2000, the industry standard, is used to receive and generate manufacturing and customer drawings. Chancellor Oil Tool was incorporated in 1960 and since that year the company has manufactured, sold, and run countless thousands of liner completion assemblies consisting of liner hangers, liner packers, liner adapters, liner float equipment and circulating equipment, etc., for slotted, cemented and gravel packed liners. We have a long history with a good reputation for design and development of liner tools for particular applications, from the simple, efficient, and inexpensive to the more complex and challenging designs. We have committed ourselves to providing the customer with the latest in design development and materials. Chancellor maintains a QA/QC program that is ISO-9001 compliant. All products are delivered with complete traceability.
Chancellor maintains a fully qualified field service staff that is thoroughly experience in the design, function and running of our liner hanger product line. Chancellor does maintain sales or agent agreements with several service companies in various regions around the world where we manufacture and ship and they provide marketing and service.
Chancellor maintains a fully comprehensive QA/QC program that is patterned after ISO 9001. The program features full traceability. 
CNC is the answer for all large volume, high quality production. Chancellor has a complete line of modern CNC machines with skilled programmers and operators that pay careful attention to every detail insuring the highest possible quality.
When production runs are smaller , or when developing a prototype product, it is necessary to utilize the manual machines. Finding and retaining a good experienced machinist is more difficult today than ever. Chancellor prides itself in having the best machinists and welders in the industry. We have five machinists/millwrights with an average of 24 years experience
